Kaneki-san got his name from Arturo Campana when he was investigating him. Apparently Müller was his handler in regards to OTO activities.

Müller is like a freaking ghost though; he takes handling to a whole new level.

Didn't think to ask that, but I got the impression there wasn't much else to get from Campana. Probably destroyed whatever means of communication with Müller he had.
